My suggestion was to use SVG images as slide backgrounds in
extras/source/templates/presnt/Focus.otp. It's an easy hack for a designer, not
for a coder.

Fixing EMF+ rendering under OS X is difficult. I suggest a different approach.
Use SVG images instead of EMF+/SVM images as slide background.
