field format category
Problem:
In Libre base, create and open a table in edit mode (right click>>edit). Select
field type texy[varchar]. Click format example ellipses button. The field
frmat box will appear. The field type [varchar] does not display any common
categories listed in the solution.
Solution: Add the following category formats as defaults
a. social security: 123-45-6789
b. phone: (999) - 555 - 5555
c. zip code: 90210-6399
d. password: ******
e. extension: 12345
f. fax: (999) - 555 – 5555
Justification: This will help keep database information accurate having these
common text input masks.
