            Bug ID: 94312
Summary: UI: Page pane renders hidden layers
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: Inherited From OOo
          Hardware: Other
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Draw
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: tmac...@gmail.com

LibreOffice's page pane renders all layers, regardless of whether they're
hidden or not.

I work with large and complicated facility diagrams that contain dozens of
layers that will never be shown at the same time. Rendering these drawings is
already slow with just the normal non-hidden elements on the screen. Enabling
the page pane preview forces this rendering to occur twice. Then, to add
insult to injury, it renders all of the hidden layers too. This making using
the page pane unusably slow. Luckily, these drawings are single pages, so I
can just disable the page pane.

Steps to reproduce:
1. New Drawing
2. New layer
3. Draw a shape
4. Hide the layer by shift-clicking layer

Expected:
The shape is hidden on our page, and should be hidden in the page pane too.

Actual:
Our shape is hidden on our page, but still visible in the page pane.

Note that the shape still appears in the page preview even if the layer is has
"visible" and "printable" unchecked.

This behavior is present in OpenOffice 3.2.1, so I'm marking it as Inherited
from OOo.
