Hi Stefan, thanks for the video and yes I think I know what you mean, but this looks like the typical rendering behavior although I am unable to see the right scroll bar.
The mouse centered zooming can't move any further if the scroll bars have reached the the end but of course the zooming does still continue so the document is moved around. It is not so easily reproducible with Vanilla LO because Draw and Impress center the screen during zooming. Of course this behavior could be changed by increasing the gray area around the document but I don't think that this would be helpful for the user. I have integrated mouse centered zooming for Writer and the issue is a little worse because there is nearly no area around the document so you hit the corner very fast which, if reversed, moves the view far away from the starting point but this is just a question of usage I suppose. As soon as the user reaches their desired target location they are supposed to move the mouse to the center again. As soon as I have integrated the centered zooming for Calc, which seems to have quite different alignment methods, I am sending another patch for testing.
