Someone mentioned this to me in a random conversation, and interestingly
enough, I can't seem to find any discussion about it on the internet, so I
assume that either everything is fine or it hasn't really been discussed.

If such a protest is already planned, I'd be interested to know who is
organizing it, so I can get my own website (OpenGameArt) involved. If not,
I'd be willing to help spearhead the effort.
