No the card wont work,as it is 32-bit, and as the website you looked said,
the 70ct cardbus is 16-bit. Try looking on ebay for a 16bit card.

No such thing as a USB PCMCIA card for 16-bit slots such as the L70.

The 70CT has a 16 bit bus that does not support USB. You'll have to go for
at least the 100CT to get a Libretto with a 32 bit bus that will support
