libtool 1.4: make uninstall broken?

I installed libtool 1.4 in the wrong place and then tried make uninstall before doing a reconfigure. It complained about not finding install-info or something - I didn't care to investigate further. Lars J ___ Libtool mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Hello, just ran into a problem when using libtool 1.4 on i86 linux (some 6.x suse). libtool contains: pic_flag= ' -fPIC' pic_mode=default which in turn breaks the command used to compile a source: gcc: cannot specify -o with -c or -S and multiple compilations since that '-fPIC' is

Hi folks, I had this discussion with Gary on this list a week or so ago. Does UnixWare 7.x.x load deplibs, or does libltdl have to do so... Trying to build libtool-1.4. I got an answer back from comp.unix.sco.programmer. In summary, I think Dave Prosser, from SCO, trys to explain that the
