Problem: I have successfully compiled (I think!) and installed libva However, vainfo reports: libva: libva version 0.31.0-sds4 libva: va_getDriverName() returns 0 libva: Trying to open /usr/lib/va/drivers/i915_drv_video.so libva: va_openDriver() returns -1 vaInitialize failed with error code -1 (unknown libva error),exit 1) I thought I had built version sds9! 2) The only drivers in /usr/lib/va/drivers are the dummy and i965_drv_video.so Questions: 1) Is libva compatible with the Intel 945GME chipset? 2) How do I persuade either libva or X to use the 965 driver instead of the 915? (the intel documentation implies the same driver is used for both) 3) Have I missed something?
