Today I noticed one strange thing. I* *removed the contents of *
usbSharedFolder.xml *and kept it blank. Then I again tried both ways i.e.
calling attachDevice method using code as well as virsh but again it
gave libvir:

You are correct that 'virsh edit' only affects the next boot of
[no need to mail both libvir-list and libvirt-users; the former is more
for development efforts, and since this is a usage question, it is
sufficient to mail just libvirt-users]
