The following should hint you as to how to modify the Makefile in the ports

port maintainer has not responded to anything in a long time that I am aware
of.

It's been a couple of versions in the 2.5 tree since I've been able to
make web. (Last working "make web" was for version 2.5.11.) I'm
including the dump from 2.5.13 -- anybody have any ideas (other than
removing lily-1812551792 before making web)?

Hi,
I was wondering, could you provide some description for the NEWS file
of what you have changed in the ancient notation in your previous
patch?
White mensural ligatures now conform more closely to renaissance usage
(on the input side maximae are allowed; the output has changed completely).

FYI: Matt Jibson currently works on an OpenBSD port (of LilyPond
and related tools), that I hope to test and watch over soon.
May be that this can be back
MacOS X is one of the platforms without libio, and it seems that the changes in 2.5.13 to accommodate those are not enough yet. Do I have to manually define ALIAS_FILE_TO_FILECOOKIE on my platform?
