In the attached screenshot, there appears to be a bug in the spacing code. As
the vocal parts in this system don't have any lyrics yet (or any notes),
lilypond has squashed the two vocal staves together.
The only spacing changes I've made in my file(s) are:

Hi,
It's been a while since I've had much to do with LilyPond, but it seems that
the installer is STILL fiddling with the registry in terms of python.
What I would like to see:
1. Could the call registry_python line in the lilypond.nsh (or whatever)
file used for generating the installer be
that the file that the installer is build from is called
lilypond.nsi in the GUB/nsis/ directory (or whatever it's called in git).
There was a git.nsi file there as well, so I'm not sure which one it is.

Hi,
Following a little bit of investigation, the changes I propose are given
below. Sorry, I couldn't get a diff off git (no git installed here, and
installing might be troublesome), so my 'hack' will be presented at the end
of this mail.
All this really does, is it makes 'registering the
Hi,
I've just upgraded to version 2.8.0-5 on Windows.
Firstly, it seems to be slower than the 2.7.x series, about the same speed
as the old 2.6.x series.
Secondly, could a compressed archive of the files installed by the installer
be added as a target of the GUB? Alternatively, an option
Hi,
Just a few little things...
In the PDF version of the user manual for 2.8, the Notes on {series} in
the Preface section is still about 2.6. Also, on the first page of this, the
copyright still says 2005 (instead of 2006).
In introduction.itely, line 859 should have 2.8.0 instead of
Hi,
Would it be possible to make the lilypond releases for windows also
available as compressed archives?
Currently, I'm having to reset quite a few things every time I install a new
version of LilyPond. i.e. Restore my default python interpreter to the one
installed elsewhere, add several

Hi,
Would someone like to do a minor change to lilywins script so that it uses
another extension for the log it produces:
line 116
line 123
I changed mine to .lylog so that I check for any warnings LilyPond produced,
as TeX overwrites the .log file

Hi,
I remember that a while ago, someone mentioned using LilyPond as a sort of
plugin for use with a GUI. Well, to make this possible, LilyPond would need
to offer some modes in which a bar of music is given to LilyPond and
LilyPond would return the appropriate notation as locations of
Hi,
Did LilyPond use to use the G Clef found on the About page of
www.lilypond.org? If so, is it possible to have it reinstated in future
LilyPond versions under anoter name? I would quite like to use that from
time to time.

Hi,
I don't know anything about Lilypond's code, but was just wondering how
much/whether Lilypond 2.4.x still uses TeX for typesetting of text on
scores?

Hi,
I'm using Lilypond 2.2.5 on cygwin, and Lilypond-Book doesn't seem to handle
Pianostaves properly. Is this a bug, or an error in my input?
