I do not believe that there is such a thing. Just install a utf-8
aware editor, eg, any reasonably modern emacs, jedit or vim.

HeyIs there a way to make a userdefined automated line breaking in Lilypond? I tried this, as said in the manual:<< \repeat unfold 7 { s1 \noBreak s1 \noBreak s1 \noBreak s1 \break } the real music>>But that gives me an empty line above the line where my music is actually displaye
I run LilyPond 2.6 on Windows 2000.
By using the characters from the keyboard for the german umlaut (ä, ö, ü) or
french accent (é, è) there are no printed signs in the pdf-output and the
following character is also ignored.
With Lilypond 2.4 and Cygwin on the same OS there is no such mistake.

I'm not sure this exists for mac as well, but on linux you could use
pdfcrop to cut the white areas away. I think there must be a source of
that program somewhere (it's command line based, pretty simple, but
pretty effective). Be sure you include

Hi,
I am still using 2.4.5 in Debian "testing" but understand that the use
of TeX is no longer happening in the 2.6 series of releases. Can the
lilypond-book "snippets in a document" still happen?
Just curious.

First of all: it helps if you keep your messages in english: more people

First I will translate the situation you described, then try to provide

The primary problem is that the file isn't found at all, since the lines
adding to the python path are completely off relative to the windows
setting.
How is that? Can't we get them completely ON? ;-)

The easiest solution for you is probably to compile the program yourself.
I'll do it myself on Debian Sarge in the coming days and can send detailed
instructions, but it seems that the only thing you need to compile in
addition
to lilypond is a newer version of fontforge, which can be downloaded

Is there any way to get the old Text quality back?

However, I couldn't manage to run python. For example, I would
expect /Program Files/LilyPond/usr/bin/python2.4.exe in a command window
to start the interpreter, but it seems that the command doesn't do
anything at all.

You need Java 5.0 (aka 1.5) for this version (and now on). I know this
is sad for Mac users, but I would not have had enough motivation to
work on LilyPondTool if I must stay with 1.4

Hi
have just upgraded to 2.7.14 from 2.6.31 (Mac version).
I now get the rather drammatic error message
programming error: Grob direction requested while calculation in progress.
the output looks fine so I am wondering if this is a debug statement
in the development version ?
cheers

I've prepared 2.6.4-2, would you like to give that a test? It took me
longer than I'd hoped, but as a bonus you should be able to do
