finally (after several attempts to the abc resp. midi format) I decided to give
lilypond another try and installed it on my notebook the day before. Have spent
most of last night to produce a lead sheet, quite successfully in fact.

Well, ive got the jEdit sofware, the LilyPondToll but,
i dont know how to compile or how to cool the
plugin from jEdit,
im trying with plugin manager but the lilypond
pluging doesnt appear,(im under Mac
You need java 5.0 (may not be available for your os - sorry)

Is there a way to stack two different time signatures vertically on one staff, for two different voices? An example is in Ravel's "Oiseaux Tristes" from Miroirs.

I downloaded and installed Apple's version of Java 5.0 - but nothing
changed for jEdit. Maybe I'm missing a step in the process.
