Verbose Readout

On the Mac the new stable version prints in the progress window a bunch of extra information including paths to just about every file on my computer every time I "Typeset" a Lilypond file. Is there any way to revert this behavior to just printing out minimal progress information and error tracing?

Not unless you define your own LilyPond command that takes several arguments and assigns them to different properties, see Sections "Extending music syntax" and "Using LilyPond syntax inside Scheme" in the manual. What would you gain from it? If you want to do the same group of settings a number

This sounds very weird, since note heads and rest symbols come from the same font file. Regarding lilypond-book, I really hope you use the --psfonts flag and corresponding flag to dvips according to the documentation. Anyway, why don't you use the LINUX package at www.lilypond.org -> Downloads?

Hi gmane.comp.gnu.lilypond.general, I am using Lilypond quite often and I like it very much! Most of the time I use Lilypond to extend and/or adapt my church songbook. Recently I began to create a sort of template to make the Lilypond look more like the original music in the songbook. Think of thi
