Hi Mats,
I guess you can't please them all, can you.
Is there documentation somewhere on how the .midiMinimumVolume
and .midiMaximum values specifically effect the velocity scaling? I
expected it to scale #0.0=0 to #1.0=127, but I discovered that you
can go above 1.0 and below 0.0 into neg
Hi Nicolas and Lilypond-Users,
Thanks for the example of two-pass vertical spacing tweak. I've started to
put together Handel's Agrippina and thought that this would improve the
layout of the score.
I've managed to use the example as is and this works although it does crash

I finally found one combination of programs that work. If I open the file
using gedit from konsole, the accented characters look like they are
supposed to in the editor, and lilypond is happy too.

Hi all,
in my language we use some one-letter, non-syllabic prepositions ("v", "k",
"z" etc.). Is it possible to declare it somehow in the LilyPond lyrics mode?
I.e. that LilyPond does not print these "words" to individual notes, but it
interprets it as one group together with the first syllable

Thank you both very much! Everything's alright now. But is it described

I don't see it there. Hmm. It does say that an underscore would have

Just the addition of
#(set-octavation 1)
causes the rest of the staff lines to be dashed. (commenting that line
restores the solid staff lines.)
Example later if necessary. I'm trying to get some parts out right away.

Hi Nicolas,
Thanks for your help.
I've downloaded your Lully files and it looks like I've bitten off more than
I can chew. Your files are very integrated so it's hard to try and find
which bits belong were and which bits I need for my files.
Can I send you some of my files so you can see where I
