1. The best workaround so far is editing the titling-init.ly as follows.
Find:
\fill-line {
\fromproperty #'header:poet
{ \large \bold \fromproperty #'header:instrument }
\fromproperty #'header:composer
}
and replace with:

1- For the glissando, how can you connect notes between 2 chords?
I tried \glissando , but it only connected the c & f. There was no
line between e & a.
2- For qurater flats, how can I get a quarter flat to be output as a slashed
flat?
If I enter "ceh", I get an inverted flat while entering ceseh

This issue came up on the bug list recently and it should be fixed in
the latest stable version.

Hi,
I saw some comments earlier on tremolo positioning.
I've seen some issues with some tremolos on semiquavers in 2.8.1 (on
windows)
\include "english.ly"
\score {
{c'1:16
a'1:16
a''1:16}
}
The tremolo slashes cover the first and third note, although the "a" looks
fine.

Yes. Please read doc section 6.3.2 Key signature.
To find out how to do this, see

Hi!
Is it possible to specify a "non-standard" key signature, e. g. a
combination of sharps and flats? It is needed to notate certain kinds
of non-western modes (an example can bee seen at
http://dev.urbanninja.se/~erik/Vranjanka.pdf).
