Please always tell what LilyPond version you use when sending questions to the mailing list. In this particular case, it may also be interesting to know what operating system you use. I just tried a simple example with 28pt size using one of the most recent versions and all accidentals showed up

I installed lilypond on Fedora Core 6. Well, it is there, but in no way does it show sumilar things as on my windows xp computer. How do I get it operational? I have some *.ly files, but how to make the pond work? where will the pdfs go? Thanks for advice! __
