I'm sorry, I think I screwed a bit up (still learning git). Without noticing I
compiled my own branch with the tie bug repaired. Now I learnt how to use git
checkout -f to undo local changes and get the latest master.
The staffs printing on top of each other are fixed, but the barnumbers are

I'm transcribing some early Gregorian-like music, and I need a symbol
denoting some small augmentation: it should be a small semicircle or a
fermata symbol without dot.
Does anyone have one?
This is the \semicirculus markup command, I think.

Maybe you can post the problematic code.
I use such shorthands a lot. If they don't work the way I expect them to do I
try to put them somewhere else or changing the context.

I never tried to write my own markup commands, so I can't say for certain, but
I guess you can only use them within a \markup block, i.e. \markup { \segue
string } }.

Why not using the `semicirculus' glyph from the parmesan font? I
think this is better than using explicit PS code...
AFAIK, the \semicirculus is upside down compared to what Bert's
looking for; so in that case one would have to rotate it by 180°
Hi everyone,I couldn't find much info on this in the Documentation, I was wondering if anyone knows how to make a cross-staff beam for those big two hand arpeggiated type figures common in piano music.I gathered that the inter-staff distance needs to be locked for it to work properly? Thanks,Kieran
