Yes, please do!
Cheers,
Valentin
It's fine having the language bar down at the bottom of a docs page.
But in the bigpage case
you've probably done a lot of reading before you reach it,
and wish you had seen it earlier.
So I suggest something like bighead.png:

Put an additional language bar at the top of bigpages.

Ah. I see it now. Yes, this is easily fixed. How can I alter this

make these small changes and email it to you?
Incidentally I find the use of the word "chord" here very misleading,
something that has been cleared up in
This is a good suggestion, but be sure that what you say is "fingering
orientation" needs a chord construct, not just "fingering." One can
also see examples of successful fingering orientations with single notes
by clicking on the inspirational header. I definitely used some in
that. I reali

I do most times:
\new Staff = "s" \new Voice = "v" { .your music. }

Hi Julian,
How can I make the snare share a stem with either bassdrum or hihat?
Sounds to me like you want them in a chord, i.e.,
HTH!

Hallo!
I'm currently trying to write a drum pattern which requires something I could
not find in the Documentation or Tips and Tricks.
Instead of only two notes at the same time, there have to be three (bd, sn,
hh). I tried to extend the example using \voiceThree (for sn) after \voiceOne
(hh)
I thought I had put a warning about this issue in the fretted strings
section but perhaps I was just dreaming it. I definitely remember
struggling with it until I figured it out, but maybe I didn't get to put
a warning because the topic of "fingering" in general is dealt with

Hi,
for this example you have to create both a Staff and a Voice context and use
associatedVoice instead of lyricsto. I don't if there is another way.
\new Staff = "s" \new Voice = "v" { .your music. }
\new Lyrics \with { alignAboveContext = "s" }
{
\set associatedVoice = "v"

The contexts are normally printed in the order in which they are defined, so
simply moving the \new Lyrics command for the sopranos so it comes before
the \new Staff command for the joint soprano/alto staff should do it. See
the SATB vocal score template in the Notation Reference section A.4.1.

d_3 puts fingering below the staff, d^3 above the staff and d-3 leaves
LilyPond to choose.
The section in the manual which you mention says "Fingering instructions may
be manually placed above or below the staff, see Direction and placement"
and that section tells you how.
The \finger
Thanks, that fixes it. But according to the documentation, the single note
chordal construction is only needed for string indications, not for
fingering

Fingering-instructions). So it looks like you can show fingering with
