TextEdit, so you may

If you don't mind trying I'd suggest the 2.13 version - I know it is unstable
but I had the same problems as this fellow here. You click on the menus and
they turn blue but not much else.
However i KNOW the 2.13 works because it was me that did the screenshots for
the 2.13 mac os section in the
Yes, that did it! Thank you very much. I had forgotten I had even used
that line of code; I took it directly from the Snippets, which said it was
used for suppressing collision warnings in the log, but never said anything
about it actually influencing collision detection. Now it looks beautiful

s.4.4.1 and s.4.4.2 the NR for 2.13.9 still talks about using \override
Staff.VerticalAxisGroup #'minimum-Y-extent and between-system-padding in
the \paper section, but neither of these now appear to do anything.

Sorry, I can't help you. Amazing as it sounds, the instructions in

lilypond-program/Setup-for-MacOS-X#Setup-for-MacOS-X actually worked
for me, so I've never used any of the methods on the website, except

if you separate the dynamics into a different variable, then you can do:
music = {c1}
dynamic = {s4\> s2 s4\!}
Or similar, given the note lengths.

Hi,
I use very long bars like 11/4, and sometimes lily crams 2 bars in the same
line. How can I break the line after each bar automatically?
Thanks

As has already been mentioned, this limitation in LilyPond has been
discussed earlier on the mailing list and is mentioned in the
documentation. One workaround is provided in
http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/lilypond-user/2007-04/msg00422.html.
