\displayLilyMusic may be useful for you, search for it in the manuals.
BTW, in this case converting from musicXML seems to work
See below. As soon as I add strokefingering to the chord, it affects the
position of the fingering indication for the B. I don't have a previous
version of LP installed to test against, but this behaviour has changed
somewhere along the line, as the actual score I was working on looks

Hi,
The LSR is undoubtedly a great source of tips for LilyPond Users.
I'd like to thank Sebastiano Vigna and the University of Milan for
developing such a good idea

No, but an SQL dump is available, as is some (possibly old) source
code. Grabbing a copy of those wouldn't hurt. If you're

Dear list members,
How can I rewrite the following simplified example so that each quarter note
unit has just one beam across the top of the upper staff and the four-note
chords share cross-staff stems?
Many thanks,

Hello,
It's strange that Lilypond's website is blocked by our GFW. Now I can cross
it, but if one day the software can't keep up with the blockade, I have to stop
at that point and can't get the new version. Is there any way to prevent the
web from blockade?
