My intuition tells me it has something to do with the q. Could it be

When I try LilyBin on iPad or iPhone the preview window covers nearly
the whole editor window when I use a file from the DropBox link.
I could not move the preview window so that the editor becomes usable.
Has anyone managed to use LilyBin on the iPad?

Hi,
I have a polyhonic situation with a b'2. and a b'1. unison (see the

Is it correct to typeset three dots in a column while two of them
actually share the same pitch? (I mean, the topmost dot is at the
vertical position of a dot for a d''.
Any opinion appreciated.

Yes, in my opinion: I find this solution very clear, graphically and

That's what the original edition does - but I find it very ugly in
that case.

Yeah, this issue with slashed grace notes has been bothering me for some long
time. The kind of music I write uses this notation constantly. So far, the
best temporary solutions I have found have been to draw a line manually on
LilyPond and move it to the correct position (which is a pain if the

I slightly modified the constants in your function and the result now is
looking even better (in my opinion, the slashes tend to be in a better

Hi Simon,
When dealing with older music, the grace notes are normally referred as
appoggiaturas and the slashed grace notes as acciaccaturas. In general
lines, an appogiatura is played with its full value of duration, which is
then subtracted from the main note. It is easier to see an image of
