Thank you, Torsten. I went back and re-installed 2.18.2 and 2.20.0 into separate folders and edited the Lilypond preferences in Frescobaldi. You are no doubt right about the LibreOffice OOo-lilypond 0.4. I've still been using that for music in text documents. Now the 2.18.2 version runs

Hi everybody, I checked today the last version of Frescobaldi for macOS on an iMac mid-2011 with 16 GB Ram and macOS 10.13.6. After a few second after double-clicking the icon it just crashes without comments. Any hint? Thank you! massimiliano
