This works perfectly. I had a feeling it would be a rather involved
solution that I would never have been able to figure out myself. I had
to tweak a fermata that got moved, but a single tweak certainly beats
tweaking each pedal mark!

Just checking - you can't make circular staves with notes in lilypond,
can you? I know you can do nice circle of fifths diagrams as per an LSR
example, but circular staves are way out of scope, aren't they?
