Paolo, 1.25_alfa did, indeed, solve the issue I was having! After removing 1.24_alfa and unpacking 1.25_alfa it wouldn't even compile a simple *.ly file. It threw errors. After mucking about a bit, making sure that the paths to LilyPond and Inkscape were properly set, and deleting some
