I am having a hard time trying to remove the system start bracket from the
first system. I am transcribing mensural music and I don't want the incipit
(written with mensural note-heads) to start with modern brackets! I tried
to do it by using:

Nobody can help? Am I facing bugs that I should report on the bug reports
