If I try to display a chord symbol (in the ChordNames context), using "g1:5^3"
(which looks like it should work from the manual) the chord name shows up as
just a G, rather than a G5 or G(no3) or something to indicate its openness. Is
there a way around this?

marks (like the proper placement of a 'Fine' mark). What I cannot figure out
after hours of tinkering and tweaking and slamming my head into the desk is how
to get a left-aligned rehearsal mark (like a segno) and a righ
I'm working on a very large collection of lead sheets and I'd like to label the
Verses and Choruses accordingly. The optimal placement of this notation would
be above and to the left (or even just to the left) of my Chord line notation.
I tried using markup, but it only shows up BELOW the chord l
I happen to be using version 2.6.0-2.

Hi,
I've got a simple leadsheet (Chords above staff, melody, and lyrics) and the
very first line is spaced much further from the 2nd than the 2nd from the 3rd,
etc.. From afar, my piece would look like this:
