someone else has devised.
Does anyone in the LP community have any practical advice on either or both
of these problems (not just read the manuals) or can they suggest other
symbols that already exist where these changes would not be required.

On 30th July, Nick Payne had a problem with getting dots to move with their
notes. Today, I had a similar problem which is shown in the minimal example
.ly file attached..
The first example shows the situation I wanted to modify.

I am using Version 2.8.6 on Windows 98.
Clementi Sonata op.7 no.3 has some bars with dotted quaver followed by demi-
semi-quavers and then other notes which can give bar lengths varying from the
time sig by 1 to 2 demi-semi-quavers. Manual typesetting can handle this but
LP ends up with bar-creep

1. I am using Windows 2000. I would like some packet of programs to be carried
to my computer with XP ( not connected to
internet to avoid hassle of checking for all the spyware)
2. GSView will print out .ps files (so the programmer says, anyway).

A .ps file is produced but can not produce a .pdf file.
When gsview is used to display on screen - it works.
When a printout is attempted, a massive list of faults is produced but not
printout.
I changed the .ps file to give the correct location of fonts ( file had a non-
existent lilypond dire
