Thanks Aaron, that works great (even in Lilypond 2.18),
I think it should be made into a standard snippet as
part of the Lilypond documentation.
Thanks again. Silas

as part of what is available within \drums. This should simply
be a matter of adding two new abbreviations and associating
them with the appropriate key numbers. Would this be an
enhancement that can be added? or is there ev

result was very nice but it took me some time to track down why my bar
numbers were all wrong in rehearsal!

Does anyone know how to solve this? Otherwise I might just
have to settle for LilyPond 2.2.6 in Debian Sarge.

Hi, I'm trying to typeset a song with Chinese lyrics in
Lilypond 2.15.40-1 and I've ran into an issue with the
horizontal alignment of Chinese punctuation. While

Hi, I've written a script to generate Lilypond code for jianpu

own right and can either be inserted in a score with other staffs or
used on its own. It looks better than just attaching text to notes.

Thanks.

Would it be feasible to make Lilypond produce the numbered musical notation
described at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Numbered_musical_notation ?
It's very widely used in China, and many Chinese singers and traditional
instrumentalists can't read anything else, so it would be useful to be able to
