Hi, I cannot find in the documentation whether it is possible to have staves
layout identically on all pages (matching side to side).
For example, in my problem the optimal spacing found by Lilypond (2.11) is 5
staves in the 1st page, 4 in the second, 5 in the 3rd, 3 in the last. In the
second
\repeat is nice for true repetitions, but if I have various patterns using the
same chord with different durations, and some ties or accents or different
beaming or slurs, it does not work. Only the notes (pitches) really are
repeated.
random example: c8 Y Y Y->~ | Y( Z) Z4_. | c8 X-> X_. X16 e
Is there a shortcut for writing repeated chords? For example instead of

16 8 16
etc...
I would like a token meaning "the last chord (pitches between < and >) once
again".
If there is nothing, does the suggestion to use empty chords <> for this seem
interesting?
