I need, for a 17th century piece, a bar that is constantly 2+2+2+3+3.
I would like to have "dashed" bar lines in the middle of each bar and a
normal "|" at the bar end.
Is it possible to have it automatically?
Thanks

Hi,
I've a 4 voice choir score.
I want to generate a second score with the only piano reduction -
well, actually an organ reduction :-)
In the lilypond guide there is how I can create a score with choir
staffs and piano system together, but it's not what I really want.
Hope someone can help

Hi,
I would like to wirte a melody and the same melody an octave lower (as
"ossia"), but in a single staff.
How to make the lower voice smaller (80% smaller notehead + thickness

I needed (only) two dashed slurs.
I wrote \slurDashed before: fine, the two slurs are dashed but... also all
the next slurs!
How to stop the "dashing program"? I've tried to write at a certain point
both \slurNeutral and \slurSolid, but the next slurs rimains dashed...
Stezano
thanks.
I've given a look, but I need a strange collision between two staffs and the
minimum X estend doesn't permit that.
Yesterday I've tried again the manual alignment of staffs and I've
understood that in alignment-offset I must specify every staff (and not only
the staff, where I put the comm
Hi,
to keep two staffs nearer I've used the command-lines

but it works fine only for the first system!

It's a pity.
I had already thought, that I could create the .ly file quite fast
with the .pmx file, but I don't understand why pmx2ly is not more
avaible. It would be useful.
However I thank you, david

I should convert a Musixtex File to Lilypond.
In the newest Lilypond version pmx2ly doesn't exist.
How can I do?

Does Lilypond run also in Puppy Linux?
I've just installed Pully 4.00 and it would be useful to work with Lilypond,
when I switch on Puppy.
Does anybody know?
Thanks Stefano

I'm looking for the best text editor in Linux for Lilypond usage.
I suppose Kwrite is quite good, it gives me clearly the structure of a .ly
file (with colors and bolds), but not always.
Is there a text editor with a specific and complete extensive lilypond
hilighter?
Bye

Hi,
when I write non-typical tuplets (i.e. 2 notes with 8th-duration and 2 notes
with 16th-duration) brackets compare automatically. In that case I don't
need any bracket and number.
Now I've fixed TupletsNumber as transparent, but what can I make against
Brackets?
thanks Stezano

I would like to hide all the bars with only rests in an orchestral scores.
With RemoveEmptyStaffContext I can hide staves with only rests, but if
I've a single bar in a stave, where an instrument plays, Lilypond
shows me the complete stave with lots of rests!
Is there another way?
Thanks

Does Xandors support Lilypond?
I hope that Lilypond runs on it!
