Hi List,
a few weeks ago I had reported that on my ArchLinux system text fonts in
Lilypond (and only in Lilypond!) had been rendered about a factor of 20 too
large - all character spacing remained normal.
Meanwhile I have solved this and my system is back to normal.
To me it appears the culprit

It has something to do with your use of \autochange, you're probably
using the wrong name for the staves.

The crashes went away (tried with 2.6) when I changed
\layout
{
\context { \RemoveEmptyStaffContext }
}
to
\layout
{
%% \context { \RemoveEmptyStaffContext }
}
In other words, I removed the RemoveEmptyStaffContext. Tried to remove
the \context part, but that resulted in an error
