Paul, you asked how I was invoking lilypond. In the Cygwin window, I navigate to the folder where my files are stored then I type in: lilypond    test.ly Doing this always worked fine in version 2.4, but 2.6 can't find the file.  Using Georg's method of typing in the whole path found the file.  In
