Both are more tangible than "ghe". They give an identity to a person
communicating on this list, even if it differs from the name on some
identity card.
Okay, done. Let's talk about real stuff now.

Dear Ian,
I'd like to emphasize David's response about you continuing to user
V2.14.2 in the long-term.
I never said that this is what I intend to do. I started to use LilyPond
two weeks ago, and because I use Debian, I installed it with a simple

There is absolutely nothing stopping using V2.16.2 on Debian, as far as
I know. There are several advantages and very few disadvantages to
doing this:

Good evening
I'll write my request first for those who are not interested in the whole
background story :-) It is about the vim filetype plugin that comes shipped
with lilypond. The following line needs to be added before any key mapping
(blatantly taken from the ftplugin file for mail and adapt
this manually.
of course this needs a deepened analysis - what would be the behaviour when
a booklet with only one composer is written? should a tagline be changed
too?
thanks

Yes, *that's* the bug (not the accidental handling). =)
For the record, I [quickly] tried a number of shifting attempts, but couldn't

I've copied this to bug-lilypond so an issue can get made on the

Hi Phil,
The attached image is how this appears in the Chappell version of "The
Mikado".
Your example isn't technically a situation where "the same note occurs with
two different accidentals in the same chord" -- it has two different
voices!
Cheers,
Kieren.
