I already sent a copy of my previous answer to the bug reporting
mailing list bug-lilypond, so there is no need for you to do anything
extra, unless you want to try to fix the problem in the source code
yourself.

This seems to be a bug! I tried an example without \addlyrics,
where the duration of the syllables was specified explicitly
and in that case I still get the stanza even if the lyrics
start with a \skip. However, when using \addlyrics I don't
manage to get any stanza printed.
