2022-05-22 Thread Soo Lee
Hi Is it possible to put a sustain pedal off between notes? It is common to have a pedal between notes. Thank you! Best, Soo

Sostenuto is just held notes. Of course MIDI can do that. You'd have to edit the MIDI with a MIDI editor in your DAW. But as for sustain, I do not see any mention of that being supported in LilyPond MIDI, or in the articulate script.

I would have tried removing the engraver. Does this affect the MIDI too? Honestly I can't hear any difference in the MIDI between sustained and not sustained notes. Is sostenuto supported in MIDI? \version "2.20.0" %\include "articulate.ly" \score { \new Staff \with { \remove

Hi, I am typesetting a Piano solo score. I want to add \sustainOn and \sustainOff stuff in my lilypond source only for more realistic MIDI output, but I don't want to print the pedalmarkings in my score. How to do this? If possible without the need to have separate midi and layout versions

Hi Keith, By no means missing the point! Works fine. Thanks! I would never have thought it was so simple - I was expecting a hundred lines of Scheme code. I seem to always miss that these various properties are often in other inherited interfaces, and so have trouble finding them in the
