Hi, I have an aftergrace: \aftergrace c8 { d16 e8 }
The beamlet for the d16 is too long, and I can't find a way to make it
shorter.
Could anyone help?

I'm sorry I haven't found a good trick for your pb, but when I put :
c4 \afterGrace d4 \override Voice.Stem #'length = #50.0
{ c16[ d] }
the grace aspect changes.
Actually, I'm not an expert in override, so...
I'll try something else today
