Subject: vertical spacing of dynamics
I am trying to increase the vertical distance between the top of the staff
and
my dynamic markings, i.e. crescendo and descrescendo, due to interference
with slurs. I know it's there somewhere in the manual but I can't find it.

Has the vertical spacing of dynamics changed in 2.1.12 or must I have
done something silly. My dynamics are all centered on the bottom line
of the staff and this does nothing.
\property Voice.DynamicLineSpanner \override #'padding = #10.0
