Just wanted to say that if the current rezoning costs the town the
convenience of Doherty’s, it would be a real loss in my opinion.
Looks like every official proposal includes this lot.

Not Necessarily. It's common to grandfather in a prior nonconforming use.

Losing Dohertys would mean the family that owns the place would want to
sell. Which could happen regardless of the zoning changes.

I haven't spoken to Dennis or his wife in the past 2 months but as you
