Hope to See You at Paws in the Park

Paws in the Park, our biggest event of the year, is happening this Sunday, May 7th from 10am-3pm. Rain or shine, this is the place to be for a fun day where dogs and pet lovers can meet and have fun while supporting us shelters continue saving the lives of homeless dogs and cats. We have 60 vendors with all sorts of goodies, including food vendors. We have kids games, face painting, and prizes. Invite your family, friends, and neighbors! This is a very special year for us as we celebrate twenty four years of rescue.

WHERE? Join us on the grounds of Longfellow’s Wayside Inn, 72 Wayside Inn, Sudbury. There will be lots of dog games and contests in the main ring, a dog agility ring, kids games, bake sale booth, retail booth, raffle/silent auction booth, a face painting vendor, a food court for humans and a treat truck for dogs. Visit all of our participating vendors and other rescue organizations. Don't miss the Adoptable Dogs parade at noon featuring dogs rescued dogs for adoption! The optional group pledge walk starts at 11am

The first 50 dog attendees will receive a gift bag stuffed with goodies. Save A Dog alumni receive a specially marked bandanna so that we can spot our furry friends and give them a special greeting. Every dog receives a bandanna while supplies last! We hope to see you there

The day is filled with food, games, prizes, demos, and of course, a dog walk through the beautiful woods at Wayside Inn near the Grist Mill. This year different dog rescue organizations of all breeds will be our honored guests and will have dogs for adoption and information on how to adopt. There will be a Parade of Adoptable Dogs for those looking to add a new best friend to their family.

Your dog will enjoy a fun-filled day of doggy games, contests, doggy swimming pools, bobbing for hot dogs, relay races, music, an agility course to try out, and over 40 vendors with free treats and information on everything "dog". There will be a silent auction with all sorts of items. For the kids, we have face painting and games!
