Dear Neighbors, Family, and Friends,
My name is Rayha and I am a Lincolnite and rising Junior at Harvard University.
I am very excited to share that I will be running the 2023 NYC Marathon for
Team for Kids!
Team for Kids supports free youth programming that allows kids from different
socioeconomic, ethnic, and athletic backgrounds build healthy, life-long
relationships with physical activity.
My personal journey with sport, mindful movement, sickness, and health, has
shown me the importance of exploring and being physically active. In the
physical, emotional, and psychological realms, I have experienced and continue
to experience the growth, confidence, and happiness that come from being aware
in and moving my body. By donating to Team for Kids you are enabling kids,
nationwide, to find the same love for and joy from movement that I have.
As a part of my Marathon entry, I have pledged to raise $2,620 for Team for
Kids. If you or anyone you know would be able to contribute any amount to my
fundraising effort I would greatly appreciate it.
