I will add one note about induction stoves:
Many articles about them describe how much easier it is to install an
induction cooktop compared to gas if you do not already have gas supplied
to your kitchen. *However,* induction cooktops may need a new high current
electric circuit run to your kitche
Induction cooktops are the best you can buy. Instant, fast heat and very
precise. After you cook on one you will never go back to gas. They are also
safer and cleaner.

Thank you for everyone's comments/opinions - I received so many replies
that I can't respond to them all individually.
Safe to say that almost everyone was very enthusiastic about induction
cooking, though a couple of people were less enamored and gave good
feedback with their reasons.
That being
Hi Bob, we've put induction ranges in three kitchen remodels over the years
and loved them. For the first two, gas wasn't an option. We loved them
enough to put induction in the third time instead of natural gas. It's a
great option for moving away from fossil fuels. We love how efficient and
