Hi, fellow residents of Lincoln ~
I am writing as a private citizen to remind you that tonight at 6:30 pm the
Planning Board will hold a hybrid meeting to confirm Saturday’s Town Meeting
HCA decision and to consider their next steps. (For those of you not present
Saturday, the maximum-build by-right zoning option, Option C, was selected for
refinement before the March 24, 2024 Town Meeting).
Tonight’s is the last meeting noted on the postcard sent out town-wide in
October outlining key HCA-specific meetings.
The Planning Board will take the next four months to revise zoning bylaws, and
will be receiving public input on a range of issues (setbacks, building
heights, affordability percentages, parking requirements, parking structures,
etc., building in the paid commuter rail lot, South Lincoln neighborhood and
abutter concerns, etc.) that will shape what the area around the train station,
the Mall, Lewis Street, Lincoln Road up to Codman Road, and Codman Road down to
117 look like once development begins.
Your voice is welcome and needed over the next four months, as Lincoln expands
multi-unit housing stock and densifies development in that sector of town.
Remember, democracy is not a spectator sport.
Here’s the Zoom link, for those linking in; alternatively, you may attend in
person:

Best to you all ~
