I have spent the last 3 evenings glued to my computer for the Zoom meetings.
Today, I reflected on what a unique town we live in. The leadership is
organized, bipartisan, and always, always civil and polite. The volunteers who
presented complex material in the short time allowed were not only smart but
articulate and passionate about their topics. The technology backing up all
this was managed flawlessly but I’m not sure whom to thank for that perfection.
The give and take of ordinary citizens, represented in the chat section and
breakout rooms, was always informative, had very little redundancy, and almost
no ranting.

We are indeed fortunate to live here. I hope the citizens who are here in 2050
will have a similar experience--though with more affordable homes and fewer
invasive plants and greenhouse gas emissions!
