I have built a volume control into a project using sprite(a QuickTime
sprite).volume =, but am having trouble determining that the system volume
is set high enough for my volume control to work, because, of course, if
the system volume level is zero (or thereabouts) then my volume
Anybody know anything about the availability of Paul Farry's Xtras? The
Xtras appear to be for sale but I can't seem to contact Paul. Paul are
you on this list?

successfully to do this.
