Hi there. Don't know if this will help, but the only time I've ever had sound playing back at double speed is when I've used a sample rate Director doesn't recognise. You've probably tried this already (sorry, I don't read the digest religiously), but can you convert the sample rate of all your sounds to 44.1? I think director only recognises this and 22.5. It's not well documented, but is tucked away in some obscure corner of the manual.
On a completely different note, I got an idea from somewhere (don't know where) that you can include alpha channels in video. Is this true? If so, which formats / codecs? And finally, (here it comes) how do you get director to recognise/ interpret them? Thanks very much everyone.
