Hi! Everyone. I am trying to work with V12 Database 3.1.1. I just created a database with one table, one record field, and index(just indexed that field). When I tried to open this database with "shared readwrite" mode, it was toooooo slow. It took 5-6 seconds to open, however if I used "shared readonly" mode to open same database. I just took 0.1 seconds. I don't have any data in the database. I am using Windows NT server with 10baseT. Moreover, If I tried to open the database with other systems(Windows98) at same time. It took 10 seconds to open the database on each system. Let's say, If you have 10 systems connected to the server and try to open the database. It will take 1 - 2 minutes to JUST open the empty database. This is so stupid. I need HELP. Please anybody have any ideas about this. B.J.
