As I understand it director will only accept powerpoint 4 documents. Just
go to xtras/import powerpoint file. The macromedia manuals explain the
specifics of importing PP files if you need further clarification.

Okay list this will probably be difficult to diagnose as I do not have all
of the specs on the clients machine. but this is the basic problem. We
have compressed a 9 minute movie into a 320x240 mpeg-1. I am using the
Direct-Media Xtra from Tabuliero on the pc side. All the video has to do is
a
first frame of my movie and the installers
came directly from the developers downloads on QuickTime's web page. I am
sure I could dig up the thread to direct you, but I am certain I pulled the
code from Director-Online initially so check there too.
