cursor 200 won't work

Hi I am using Director 8.5. I am trying to use cursor 200 to make my cursor disappear. It works perfectly well in authoring mode on Mac and PC. However, when i use the projector n WIndows 98, the cursor won't disappear before i move the mouse. Even worse, on Mac 8.6, the sursor won't disappear
