Hi all,
Many of you have probably seen or heard about the news of a
collaborative effort between Intel and Macromedia to add 3D Graphics
technology to the Shockwave Player. A press release that covers this
effort was sent out last July -- for more detail, it can be viewed at:
to the Macintosh platform and in
accordance with that commitment, we will be porting Director and
Shockwave to Mac OS X. We cannot comment at this point on the
release date for these ports, but wanted to convey our commitment.

properties dialog (Property Inspector in D8).

at which you get a warning applies to getPref and setPref
lingo. When you use setPref, the text data gets written out to a
Prefs folder in the Shockwave 8 folder -- different than the dswmedia
folder.
